St George Dragons great and rugby league Immortal Graeme Langlands has died in his Sutherland Shire nursing home, aged 76.

He played hard and partied hard and every party eventually comes to an end .
To many he was the greatest fullback ever until Slater came along . To me Graeme Eadie was the greatest I have seen followed by Brett Stewart . When players reach an elite level its debatable who was the best as they are all awesome match winners in their own right

Considered by many who played with him as one of the most naturally gifted footballers to play the game. Will always be remembered for his white boot effort in the GF. Sad news when the greats pass away. RIP Chang

Just a small point.....

During the 1973 Kangaroo Tour of which he was the captain-coach (the last to have that role for Australia), it was Langlands as coach who ruled himself out of the second test at Headingley and it helped launch the test career of one of Manly's greats.....Graham Eadie.
