I heard early in the Bronco v Warrior match a ref shouting at a Bronco player to keep out of the play because he was off-side.

This same warning is not given every time. The Warriors were penalised later for off-side without being warned. If some players/teams get warned while others don't then it is obviously unfair and leaves the refs open to allegations of bias and favouritism. Does anyone k now what the refs guidelines are about when to warn a player?

The official rule is if you are a news Ltd owned or partly owned team then you receive calls not to get involved if you are offside. All other teams are penalised.

Yes that is the concern, or even personal bias such as refs who have a history with a club. It happens all the time in various situations, such as reminding a team to stay behind the line for drop-out. The team that doesn't get reminded is more likely to concede a penalty.

Rodney got called out recently and player went past him, happens with all teams, refs would be superhuman to do it every time. Refs trying to keep game flowing.

If you want to see bias and favoritism then just tune into King Locky last game at Suncorp against us in the last round. To quote Gus, WOW, what a refereeing farce this is going to be.

Last time I went to a Broncos game (vs Gold Coast Seagulls!!) I ended up in a punch on with some patronizing jack-ass Bronco supporter and got "escorted" out by two VERY large Samoans...

I plan to be at Locky's last game. I forsee the night ending in the same fashion. Should be awesome 🙂
