So we can’t finish 8th and can’t play dogs away week 1 away.

Either we win next home semi against cowboys or dogs

Lose away final to cowboys.
Not if they beat Dogs. We play the loser of that game - home or away.

Great win for the team and the boys. Hopefully they can see now that with effort comes rewards. Unlucky for Saab and Turbo. Xeri better get at least 4 weeks for that hip drop coz that's what Saab is looking at on the sidelines. Now onto the gummies.

Jason Saab won’t return with a suspected syndesmosis injury.

Textbook hip drop tackle mechanism - tackler traps foot under body weight causing it to twist outwards. Initial sideline report of 2-4 weeks recovery - could be up to 6 if significant tear & surgery required.

Again
Great game by us
Yes dogs were a little bit down on form but we played like we wanted it more
I think even with turbo and Saab out our home ground will play a part next week a home final up for grabs we won’t want to let it slip

There is a chance Brooks will be suspended next week?
I wouldn't think so as he pulled out of quickly but brooks has such a bad habit of picking up players legs and going in between them and gets in trouble for a dangerous or tipping tackle. I was just saying the other day how he needs to cut it out of his game because he has one in him almost every game and its always a risk of a penalty/sin bin/report.

Tremendous win Manly! Ref tried hard to stuff us early on but after a while he gave up because Manly was too dominant.
Turbo and Saab? Next man up!
Next few weeks plenty of history can be made. The forwards are key, and they have it in them, if they can build on that performance then Manly is still right in this competition.

Congrats on the win manly fans
I copped it fair and square in a doggies jersey in a packed pub on the northern beaches
I don’t think either team will make the gf this year sadly, onto the next but you performed better than us to fair and square

Great win, went from low lows last week to high highs this week. Devastated about Tommy, not particularly worried about fullback position because we have Hoppa or Koula who can fill in but devastated on a personal level seeing Tommy get another injury and potentially miss out on finals and the mental toll on him. I feel like he just started to play with confidence without the worry of getting injured which made his game improve so much. It's obviously not shocking or surprising to see him get injured but still sad and just hoping it's as minor as can be. I also noticed Luke Brooks a bit hobbly towards the end of the game but am just hoping it was cramps.

What a difference a week makes
Manly played through the middle more tonight and it payed off
Shame about Turbo but might be ok with a few needles and a week off
Onto next week but must play to the same intensity from here on end and anything can happen

We showed the rest of the comp how to beat Canterbury…run big players back in behind the play the ball and you’ll get momentum.

It’s a shame all our best wins over the years always have to come with an asterisk. There’s always a catastrophic injury or the leaking of points in the last tens minutes. I’d love to see us win and leave the field as the team that threw the last punch or had a full compliment of players. Instead, it’s a great win that’s probably going to be our last of the year.
Copy and paste the same game plan against the Storm..

King will be better with those minutes tonight, need another big body on the pine to match the bigger packs.

They will beat the Cows next week.
