Game Day: Bulldogs V Manly [Finals Week 1, 2024]

I usually have a look at the odds that are displayed on the NRL site and Canterbury were favourites for this game up until the point of the JAC story hitting the airwaves. Odds have been almost identical for most of the week and now Manly are clear (but not huge) favourites... I wonder if the bookies are right?

Yep, you can see it coming but all we have to do is play so well that we take the crowd & the refs out of the picture.

The biggest thing against us won’t be the crowd it’ll be the “ Cinderella Story” ( as described by Soupie ).

Everyone following the game knows it’s the NRL’s “ fairytale “ year.

And the refs will know it.

Love to stick it up them , but I do think it’ll be a bridge too far.

Watching the channel 9 coverage and it’s all Bulldogs , turned it on 40 minutes ago and it’s like the opposition doesn’t exist.
