Look, Im sorry, It’s great that we are in the finals and all but i’m afraid we are no chance of winning this:

• Big pressure game which we always fail in
• Huge crowd playing away from home
• Turbo on one arm
• DCE random rushing defence which was found out last week
• Sloppy terrible and slow hooker play
• a center that’s not a center playing center that can’t defend
• Bulldogs know what we will bring after we beat them a few weeks back and will adjust

So we will be out the back door as sad as that sounds, We don’t have the game for finals football, “give it to tom” doesn’t work in these games , You need to play fast direct and go forward in these big matches and we have far to much sideways in our game.

Wow finals footy, it's been so long!

I am expecting a crazy game today with this strong wind. I believe we are a top 6 team at the very least so I expect our intensity will overcome the Bulldogs in a much closer affair than 2 weeks ago.

Turbo Tom is my Super Hero. Without him we are a shadow of what we can be.

I think defence will be key in the match of the round.

Well Game day is finally here, best of luck may the best team win. It should be an absolute cracker, I’ll be wearing the 1995 Premiership jersey as seen below by the the LEGEND himself Terry Lamb, the last time we met the Sea Eagles in a final was 2014 knocking them out on Snakes 200th in golden point - this is a rivalry game in my opinion and everything is on the line for both teams. Heading out with some old school Manly mates to sink many beers before can’t wait.

I was there that day , and in fact the player who scored the try on the 7th tackle comes from my home town of Moree so after he retired I asked him about it, his words as follows .

“ it was the last tackle , and we tried the short side but got tackled the player got up , looked at the ref who was waving his arm for the last tackle so with the Manly defenders just standing there thinking it was a scrum ( not a handover back then) I was passed the ball and just strolled over for the try ,I knew , the players knew , it was on the 7th tackle”

It changed the game and was very much part of the reason your side won.

I agree with the hooker part, look at some of the hookers for the other teams in this round... Harry Grant, Mitch Kenny, Connor Watson, Blake Brailey, Reece Robson, even the pest Reed Mahoney. Croker is not in the same league.

Would like to think guys like Toovey , Spud , Beaver might have been around the players this week reminding them of that daylight robbery even though most weren't even born then.

For us to win the pack need to dominate and DCE needs to take control of the game and play a blinder. The dogs will have eyes for Turbo and DCE and Brooks need to create opportunities for those around them. Possession will provide momentum and that will determine this one.
