MANLY premiership winning captain Max Krilich is calling on the Sea Eagles pack to ``not pussy-cat’’ around against the Dragons at Brookvale Oval on Saturday night, declaring the club must: ``do what St George did to Melbourne’’.

Krilich believes the Sea Eagles should employ the same tactics that the Dragons used in their highly controversial July 21 clash with the Storm in Melbourne. The joint-venture club threw everything at the premiers, including many punches, before they came unstuck when prop Jason Ryles was sent-off for kicking.

Krilich now believes Manly must revert to similar tactics in their bid to eliminate the Dragons from the 2008 premiership.

``Manly have got to do to St George what St George did to Melbourne,’’ he said on Thursday night.

``You’ve got to be very strong without being over the top and giving away penalties. They have got to display controlled aggression and zero in on them in tackles like St George did against Melbourne.

``It’s a very fine line. But if you want to pussy-cat around, you’ll get hammered.’’

Another Sea Eagles premiership winner, Mark Carroll, said the onus was on Anthony Watmough.

The former NSW and Australian prop has been highly impressed with Watmough’s performances over the past fortnight and says it’s up to the tough second-rower to lead the pack.

``It’s great to see Watmough has pulled his finger out the last couple of weeks,’’ Carroll said.

``He’s the one who’ll run at them all night. It’s semi-finals, you’ve got to do whatever it takes.’’

A tactic Manly centre Steve Matai seems likely to adopt.

``We’re going to do anything that will help us win the game and I’m sure they’ll do the same,’’ Matai said.

Prop Josh Perry said the pack will leave nothing in the tank.

``It’s semi-final footy and they will come out firing as we will,’’ the rugged front-rower said.

``We’ve got a lot of self-confidence.’’
