Can anyone out there clarify exactly what Snake's celebration after his first try was all about last night ? Someone suggested it was to do with grass seed, but I think that was tongue in cheek.

Yeah agree, Spreading some lawn seed.

The disgrace that is Brookvale oval.

      Just a guess though.

Looked like he was doling out cash to me, I was wondering it was a backhand swipe at DCE's contract negotiations. Or is that thinking about it all too deeply ?

Looked like he was imitating a bloke with a stick and a snake.

ManlyArmy - I'm not sure exactly what that means. I had a look on Sportal and there are two theories, one that it was something to do with Korbin Simms / Willy Mason, and another to do with Brett having chickens as a kid. I think the latter was just a joke.

He was handing out tickets to the snake show.

Well we can't have him going blind - we need him to catch the odd bomb or two....

Could it be that someone had him for first try scorer & he was dealing out the money? I'm sure something sinister will be made of it

Was wondering the same thing. It didn't help he seemed to be stifled by his jubilant team mates. I was hoping someone would ask him at the media conference but not to be. :mm:

Maybe a jibe at his former/present poker enemy Beaver?

I would say Crab snuk in last night and Snake obviously spotted him.

That was probably the weirdest and most disturbing post try celebration I've seen!

I don't know what to make of it. @
