yes it was a bad 2nd half
TBH - the first half was patchy also....
The winning try was dubious, but after a 20-6 lead, the result should have been out of reach at the 78th minute.
The sad part is....this Manly side show glimpses of quality power footy that would compete with ANY team, yet struggle to regain composure once the opposition turn up the heat....unsure if it's a confidence - youth thing, or the hard cold fact, there are a few of them not up to NRL pressure footy.
What I love about footy, is the fact 1 week can turn a teams fortunes....a big win over Dogs and the gloom is clearing.
Then it's NZ and a chance to grow in confidence.
If it's 2 from 2 there - we head to Penrith and have an opportunity for 3 in a row and momentum into the finals.
The old 1 game at a time cliche is the order of the day and have a good feeling Silvertails will have a far more positive vibe, after the Dogs game next week.

Manly must play their game, play fast because that is where the dogs are slow. Respect the ball and play the percentages and there is a good chance of a win. The Dogs will be up for this, its a pride thing for them and the flack they have taken from their own means that pride will be a big thing for them this week.

The Penrith game is at Brookie

We just need to see our backs start taking more hitups again, that's what drove our top 4 quality form in the earlier parts of the season and in that Roosters win. The boys are still gaining experience although it's not ok to blow yet another lead this season, they've got to learn to not let bad calls hurt us

And boy aren't we missing Tafua's charging up yards now?
