Best performance since??

That was better than any Manly performance in ages...
Not since the Golden era which ended in 2013 has the team dominated in such a way.
On a scorching hot day, to keep them to 0 is massive.
Baz got the bench right and the interchange right, to keep the intensity up all game.
Every player performed and had a real go....great team performance.
Has there been any better Manly performance in recent times??

maybe none better but last years round 3, 30-8 win against all odds over the cowgirls wasn't too shabby

A couple of years ago (2015?) when we flogged the Broncos up at Gosford. We were having a horrendous year and the Broncos were going well. It was one of those Marvel jersey games and everything we did came off.

That was a good night and made the drive home very enjoyable.

That was a very good performance against the team that should have won the comp that year until they pissed away a winning lead in the grand final. I also went to that game and loved every minute

It wasn't a flogging but I would have to rate our 2014 Brookie win against the Roosters alongside yesterday's performance. The Roosters had a rampaging forward pack and we literally looked like we were holding on for dear life for most of the match. A stoic defensive effort and a terrific effort from our backs saw us get home with an unlikely but well deserved 4 tries to 3 victory

Some notable ones for me since 2013:

1. Rd 8 2014 - 54-18 vs raiders. We were 54 nil up and could have added more had we not gone its conservation mode.
2. Rd 5 last year vs roosters. Not a big score, but a tough game, the underdog and still got the win.
3. Rd16 2017 vs Gummies - DCE masterclass tore them to shreds
4. Rd 8 2015 vs storm - Again a close one but the team really put it against the premiership favourites, after 5 straight losses. This was a gutsy win and really showed resilient Manly are when they played for the jumper.

Considering they had beaten us the previous 6 times and that 0-2 would have put a lot of pressure on us, and the fact it was a full 80min performance- this is one of the best in a very long time.
