I don't know how many times I've watched that magical last try of his in the 08 GF.

The way the Nein commentators announce his arrival back on the field , talking of fairytales , and then it happens......the ultimate fairytale!!!

I truly can't think of a greater moment more ingrained in the memory bank , and let's not forget I haven't missed a GF appearance since my Dad wouldn't let me go to the 1972 one.

What an absolute champion.

Is it just me (and this clip aside) but is he under rated by anyone who is not a manly fan.

I mean imagine if slater was no 2 on the all time try scoring list...let alone playing in a position where this is not considered normal
