I absolutely loved that he was brutally honest, good signs to see him leaving all excuses away and let em know that we can't ever cruise through the season.

Now let's hope he gets them ready mentally to grind out the storm at Brookie next week

I hate how they fine coaches for that, why can't they have a stand and let officials know what they thought of them. Nrl just trying to cover themselves as usual
There are avenues for coaches to air their grievances but press conferences are not the place.Whilst refs make mistakes and plenty of them are howlers, they don't deserve to be bashed in the media or press conferences because it insights stupidity from fans.No excuses today and reading plenty of stories and opinions on that first try, there are as many people who think the first try was correctly given. So a ref shouldn't be hung out to dry based on a 50/50 decision

See what you're saying, however I believe that a coach can point the ref out for the refs mistakes. It's a widely debated one, although there is no reason to restrict coaches from letting out their opinion. Blame where blame is due

All of the commentators on Fox Sports said it should have been a penalty to Manly, not a try to the Drags. It is us against the world now more than ever. It was by far the most dodgiest bunker decision i have ever witnessed.

I assume you are reading these stories and opinions at http://www.dragons.com.au/membership1/red-v-forums.html?

If so, yeah I agree. It's definitely a 50/50.
No,a few Fox

The official line from those in Bunker was"a bunker review can only assess from the point that the ball is played, any incident prior other than foul play cannot be considered"
For what it's worth,Andrew Voss thought it was a try

But it stopped him from getting to dummy half which led to the try ?

Strange one. Not sure what the other players were doing though.

Sorry mate, voss thought it was a diabolical decision as well he was blowing up. All comentors thought it was a dead set penalty

So i guess it's going to be a free-for-all now for defending teams looking to hinder their opponents from being able getting into dummy half.

Maybe we should take a leaf out of the Drags's books next week and annoy the **** out of Cam Smith, grab his jersey a bit, hold him back for a couple of seconds, give him a big warm hug just before the ball is about to be played. Is their a limit to how many players we can simultaneously impede or just the one?

Ohh I'm sure Turdberger will make sure they crack down on it now that we've been shafted with a spike up our a**holes by it.

Think it was warren smith but yeah. Only the ex dragon Gasnier was less than outraged by that first try. And the AFB strip to Api was real. Gasnier tried his best to deflate that saying something stupid like his eyes weren't even looking at the ball.

All and sundry basically called him out as being a goose.

Some **** decisions. Wasn't Manly's day.

Could you imagine the Tantrum that JT would have thrown if the same thing happened to him. He would have ended up in the bin.... Oh right, sorry....JT would have been awarded the penalty without much fuss, and they would have been starting the next set close to half way and on a roll...
