Also it's become tradition, lots of the players do the 'push it up' action & we've got plenty of photos with them & the banner, the banner is more famous than anything else on the hill.

You sure do Dan, c'mon. Although you're kind of on the money with the Salt n Peppa idea. Without having had much association with the sign (although I've got a nice picture of 65 Manly fans standing behind it at Viaduct harbour in Auckland) I have seen Big Georgie pumping both arms in the air to the sign when he walks past the hill after a game.

Push it up, raise it up, reach for the heights, give it some more effort etc etc.

It's a bit different but as Wolfpack says it's got some tradition now.
