Lol just watching the Newcastle game, and Cronk has just complained to the ref that Newcastle are drenching the ball with water before they kick it off

Is that actually against the rules ? I wouldn't think so, quite a clever tactic but probably not in the spirit of the game

I do a similar thing at touch footy, always roll the ball on the ground if its a hand over, we play at nights and the ground is always wet.
