Seems like a good time to join in the discussions on Silvertails - certainly plenty of interesting stuff to talk about.
Have followed the mighty Sea Eagles since the late sixties (before we ever one a comp) so I guess I'm coming up to my 50th anniversary.
Growing up in the bush ( Gunnedah, home to the internal front row of John O'Neill, Ron Turner and Dallas Donnelly) didn't allow me to watch many games but that didn't stop the lifetime passion of the club. Born in Balgowlah (only lived in Sydney for a month) I guess makes me a local!
Was lucky enough to watch live the great back to the wall performance of the 1978 premiership side including against Parra (Sterling's 1st game) and Cronulla in both Grand Finals - wasn't much of a choice, watching the eagles or going to uni.
So onwards and upwards and I hope that the team can pull together like in 1978 and start to get a few wins on the board
