The Dragons have been doing this since the Centenary of League. While the Tigers had apparel with est.2000 on it, the Dragons were labelling theirs with 1921. The NRL have obvious control on this but waved it through. Plenty of Tigers and ex-Steelers fans dirty on that whitewashing of JV history.

As much as I disagree with Middleton on Manly, as least he's consistent with the JV histories for all involved. No such luck the NRL and broadcasters running the St.George are the JV line.

Have heard the SG Ball and Harold Matts games between Illawarra and St George get very heated
