The Origin teams and Kangaroos have recently been flogging alternate designed jerseys calling them training jerseys. Seems to have spread to NRL club land as the Roosters have now released two 2024 training jerseys at $140 each with unique designs. Be interesting to see if Manly have any for 2024. Manly have training warm up tees, but i think training jerseys is a new thing for clubs.

How much money are they throwing at league they are on atleast 6 teams strips either on jerseys or shorts.

Makes you wonder if KFC have sponsored the NRL more broadly and its just part of every team gets an equal slice. Ie X amount gets a short spot at some clubs us last year. That same X amount is the third highest sponsorship and earns a Lower Jersey spot this year. And for those rich list clubs that same X amount just isn't enough to feature on the Jersey at all.

Honestly this logo certainly grew on me as the season went on, to the point where the 2023 jersey, with the old logo, actually looked out of place to me. Don't mind it at all now.

Will be good to see URM back next year on the jerseys, even though Pointsbet was the valuable rare sponsor that would stick to the colour theme. Hope we don't go back to chevrons personally.
