Does not make a great deal of sense.............!

Firstly how do people that work get a chance to get to a 6pm start on a Friday night....??

And secondly even if it is for the TV audience I am sure I am not the only one that very rarely gets home by 6.........!

Sydney transport makes 7pm difficult, let alone 6pm @

Not everyone works at Fox Studios and rolls out onto an entertainment strip, like the guys at NRL HQ:mad:

Dumb idea

A draw that is suppose to be fair will be skewed to another team - it is a massive advantage to have a consistent break between games, something the bongos have enjoyed for way too long

Bronco's won't stand for that, how dare the NRL make them go 166 hours between game starts instead of 168 hours. Player burn out and their fans having to adjust to the non stranded 8:00pm Friday kick off.

I'm confused.

Wasn't 9 supposed to have 4 games. With 1 on Saturday night. Also with fox supposedly simulcasting all games 9's $990 mil will go down by heaps!!!

don't worry, the nsw government has solved this problem with double decker busses from manly to the city all day. said so in the tele so its got to be true!

I'd prefer a 3pm Saturday game

Have to admit, I miss watching league on Saturday afternoons. Adelaide started getting the ABC telecasts in the early 90's when the commentators were Warren Boland, Arthur Beetson, John Peard and Debbie Spillane. Manly got quite a few home games that I got to watch and one that will always stand out was the day we thumped Western Suburbs 66-8 in 1994. Cliffy was on fire playing halfback that day.
