Wow...the exodus of good up and coming junior players from Parra has begun in earnest.
it's akin to a closing down sale at a cloths store...lol.
Parra supporter told me yesterday that they have also lost all their Australian schoolboys that represented this year. All four of them

Aside from the fact he apparently wants to be in Qld I doubt Horsburgh is what we need. Has ability and at times plays with emotion but discipline? That's a killer in the modern game (see Josh Kerr last night v Chooks). No point getting rid of Keppie then signing a Corey type of player.

Excellent effort there SE. Must have taken ages to check up on all those contracts.

The Who

Journey Man
Caleb Navale has been re-signed so he'll be in the top 30, as will Lehi.
That only leaves one position to fill, based on SE's list.
I guess we can expect the club to try and offload a few.

We really need a backrower or two considering our current starter (Lawton) is leaving and Burbo is the only other option in the squad. Waddell not signed and not much of an edge anyway. Haumole our only genuine starting second rower

These days you need to have a balanced pack with some size and plenty of speed and mobility, We need a couple of new mobile forwards. The modern game lends itself to fast mobile packs running bigger packs around and gassing them. Canterbury managed to do that against the Raiders.

The Curren and Fermor types are great, as not Massive dollars, but quick workhorse types.....I actually like the Sharks backrower Wilton, runs great unders lines and tackles well.
I would settle for Tapine from Raiders or Leota from Penrith too, but gotta be real with the purse strings.....

None of those players are realistically attainable at the minute unfortunately. All key for there respective sides.

You maybe right, but I've seen bigger names "suddenly" shift in recent years, there is zero certainty in contracts in the modern game.
Regardless I am more giving ideas of the player type we need to look at moving forward so will throw in Duncan Tallis while I'm at it

Yea I like Jack Williams as a like for like replacement for Lawton as well. How much would Parker be on? Realistically he’s never playing first grade at manly again & is a waste of a top 30 spot, would rather use his money on Kleese haas or Joe Chan

I think Jack Williams is well worth a look at the right price.
Here you go. He transferred to the Bahrain Camels in 1996:
