BROTHERLY LOVE

The Trbojevic brothers are inching closer to becoming the first three brothers to play for Manly in the one team with youngster Ben extending his deal with the Sea Eagles.

Sport Confidential has learnt Ben has signed a new two year deal with Manly which will see him promoted to the top 30 squad next year. His new contract will take him until the end of 2022 and is an upgrade from the contract which had him as part of the club’s development list this year. The upgrade and extension occurred despite having one year left on his deal and gives the clearest indication that the Sea Eagles are readying the centre/back-rower to join brothers Tom and Jake in the NRL. He was named as part of the Sea Eagles extended squad late in the season but was restricted to ball-boy duties. Tom and Jake are signed at the club until the end of 2026.

Reuben Cotter re-signs with Cowboys for 2 years,Sam Stone re-signs with Titans for 1 year.
Joe Lovodua released by Dragons, would be a good pick up for us Dessler......Adam Keighran who is a pretty decent half and did a good job out of position in the centres against us has been released by Warriors.

South Sydney have all but lost patience with teenage sensation Joseph Suaalii and any hope of the youngster joining the Rabbitohs is fading fast.

Souths are prepared to throw big dollars at the 17-year-old but he has angered Rabbitohs officials with the negotiation process, insisting on get-out clauses.

The Rabbitohs are now likely to use the money set aside for Suaalii to have a crack at Storm superstar Josh Addo-Carr.

Addo-Carr is a Souths junior and the Rabbitohs believe he would thrive at the club given its rich Indigenous culture.

The Rabbitohs have one of the most exciting backlines in the league world and Addo-Carr would take their speed and power to a new dimension if a deal happens.

Joe Ofahengaue told to look elsewhere by the Broncos with two years left on his contract (circa $450k per year). Dragons are showing some interest.

James Tedesco’s deal with the Roosters has been delayed until after the season due to reports of some pretty extreme demands from the superstar fullback.
The Daily Telegraph reported in September that Tedesco had all but locked up a five-year $6 million contract to finish his career at the Tri-colours, but negotiations have stalled.

Brent Read told Triple M that the length of the deal is a point of conjecture, with the Roosters keen for a three-year deal, while Tedesco’s camp wants more.
