St George Illawarra and Jack de Belin have announced an in-principle agreement for the star forward to re-sign beyond 2020 pending the outcome of his upcoming criminal case.


De Belin's current contract expires just days before he is due back in Wollongong District Court, but the Dragons have confirmed in principle agreement for him to remain at the club next season should he be permitted to resume playing again in 2021.
 
Wests Tigers release Chris McQueen from remainder of contract

Veteran backrower Chris McQueen will depart the NRL after the Tigers confirmed on Friday he'd been released from the remainder of his contract.

The 33-year-old was contracted to the end of the season but will now take up a deal with a club in the English Super League.
 
Looking through a dragons forum and a poster posted "heard Manly have signed Saab". I know this rumour popped up a few days ago re a player swap with Garrick. No idea if true however does beg the quesion of whether Des will play him next. Same age as Hoppa/Schuster etc. and from all reports a real stringbean.

South Sydney remain keen to retain Joseph Suaalii but have rejected the teenage prodigy’s demands for a new five-year deal that includes get-out clauses in his favour.

The saga that has been the cross-code battle for Suaalii’s signature took a fresh twist when the youngster’s handlers asked the Rabbitohs for a long-term contract - one from which Suaalii could extricate himself in seasons 2023-5 if he so chose.

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles can confirm that International prop, Addin Fonua-Blake, has expressed his desire to relocate out of Sydney with his young family at the end of the 2020 NRL Season. He has sought permission for his manager to discuss this possibility with a small number of NRL Clubs.
