Australian rugby is set to re-sign Brumbies speedster and former Sea Eagles playmaker Tom Wright as Wallabies duty looms for the in-form winger.

The Herald can reveal that while rugby has lost out to Manly in the fight for gun Sydney schoolboy Tolu Koula and is also losing hope of securing the services of 16-year-old phenomenon Joseph Suaalii, it does expect to notch a win with Wright's signature on a new two-year deal.

RA was intent on signing the Newington College Year 12 student but lost its chance, with Koula opting to stay with Manly - where he plays SG Ball - on a two-year deal with a third-year option.

Rival clubs are interested in talented @PenrithPanthers
rookie Stephen Crichton but the club will be looking to retain him moving forward on a $1.5m three-year extension.

Suaalii :

The teenager is set to put pen to paper on a $2.5 million deal, according to Fox League’s James Hooper, while the Rabbitohs have requested a special exemption be made for Suaalii to be able to play in the NRL at 17 years of age.

The current rule says players must be 18 years old to play in the NRL.

The deal would already have been approved if Suaalii was to play for the Roosters, but as it is Souths, the approval will have to take 5 mins.

current rule is that a player must turn 19yo in the year of their debut.

The Dragons have rocketed to favouritism to sign gritty Bulldog forward Adam Elliott, seeing him as the player to replace hitman Tyson Frizell.

With Frizell off to the Knights in 2021, the Dragons have been on the lookout for a busy edge forward and see Elliott as the best on the market.

The tough forward has been unable to come to terms with the Bulldogs, attracting the attention of both the Dragons and Raiders.

- the moron. oops I mean from the mole.

The Vodafone Warriors have added more size to their 2021 NRL roster by signing giant Parramatta Eels prop Kane Evans, one of the tallest players in the competition.

Boasting 108 NRL appearances for the Sydney Roosters and the Eels, the 199cm, 110kg Evans (28) has been secured on a two-year deal to the end of the 2022 season.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, not sure if it's true. According to a story published on Zero Tackle, Trent Barret the new Bulldogs "coach" has contacted Corey Waddell and Jack Gosiewski to talk footy with him. This is on top of Twent's hitlist that includes Manase Fainu.
