2019 's Greatest wastes of Salary Cap ...

The Grub at the Tigers

Boyd at the Donkeys

Debelin at the Dragons

Cam Smith at the Storm 😛

I think you could almost add Cronk to the list.
Last year he was a stand out for the Roosters but this year he has been a lot quieter, but he is one of those players likely to get the man of the match every game for the rest of the season.

Jack Bird would be amongst those as well

I disagree, it's true that he provided very little in 2018 after arriving injured at the Broncos. However, in 2019 his form was excellent and he was a good chance of selection in Origin Game One till rupturing an ACL in the game against Manly.

Angus Crichton was an Origin player at Souffs before being lured to Easts for some extra spending money, and has been disappointing.
Now he's lucky to get a spot on the Easts' bench which, mind you, is still $3-million in value for the four seats.

Interesting how you disagree with Pete .
Lets us look at the overall salary cap value that Bird has given the broncos in 2 seasons .
We agree that his 2018 season was very little value
We also agree he had 9 good games before his 2019 season ended with the acl
A total of 9 good games from 2 seasons and 50 games does not add up to good salary cap value and I have to agree with Uncle Pete here (@Peter C )
Any way just my opinion feathered friend

With respect to you, the thread title only encompasses 2019 mate.
He played ok for 8 rounds but at @ 120k /game was pretty bad value for 2019.

Johnson & Moylan at Sharks

The Sharks have a good roster with a mixture of experience and youth, but big purchases over the last couple of years have not performed, i.e. Johnson, Moylan & Dugan (last two genuine duds, it seems). I hope Johnson comes good as he is a great player to watch when in form. Due to salary cap pressures, they have also released some good players, including Ramien, Feki & Lee. I think the team would have been faring much better under (now banned) coach Flanagan.
