Vodafone Warriors chief executive Cameron George has today confirmed vastly-experienced coach Nathan Brown, former Wallabies rugby union strength and conditioning coach Craig Twentyman and ex-Kiwi international Slade Griffin have been signed in key football department roles.
Long-time St George Illawarra and Newcastle NRL coach Brown is coming on board as a specialist coach during the preseason, Twentyman is the new head of the performance department and Griffin has been signed as Future Warriors Programme coach.
Looks like young Eels centre Kei is heading to the Tigers and not us along with their(Eels) second rower Faingaa(development squad player from 2019).
Looks like the named 28 man squad has also got Schuster,Williams,Dockar-Clay and Miski as development contracted players.Being so far out from start of season means many changes etc...are possible before the kick-off(players signed, promoted etc...)
As reported by Blake A above some interesting contract lengths....Funa is on a 2 year deal as is Musgrove. If the report is correct 5 of our 6 development squad players are signed through 2021....Anderson,Schuster,Saddler,Titmuss,Trbojevic,and Miski is signed through 2020.Williams is confirmed in the 29 man named squad named.Notable omission at this point is Dockar-Clay who is not named in either squad. So far 29 guys out of 30 and 6 out of 6 development squad named(things can change though....)
