• Re signings announced e.g. tafua plus some of U20s
• Brookie redevelopment by new council

I read another summary on nrl site which listed green and Lawrence as our two biggest penalty givers. And that manly were quite likely to concede a try after conceding a penalty.

With them gone things will actually improve.

Other than 5/8, the loss of BJ and the inclusion of Thompson, we actually have a pretty settled side.

Best 2017 (IMO):

Tom, Jorge, Walks, Kelly, Aku, Green, DCE, BJ, Api, Kapow, Frank, Siro, Jake. Bench - Brown, AFB, Perrett, Hastings/Lussick

Best 2018 (again IMO):

Tom, Jorge, Walks, Kelly, Aku, Hastings, DCE, Lussick, Api, Kapow, Thommo, Siro, Jake. Bench - Brown/Lane, AFB, Perrett, Frank

We were top 3 at one point and still finished 6th despite a mid-season slump that coincided with injuries to Taufua and Sironen. I think the so-called media experts are writing us off at their peril.

Back us with what you have spare to make the 4 and the broncos and storm to miss the 4

If there was a back to back market I would take that as well as we prepare to make history

There is something special coming with these young tough little hard working eagles that will become contagious as everyone buys in

I’m excited, and little bit pissed but very very confident with TB and our position and as far as I know, we are still unbeaten in 2018
