It's GREAT to see the footy season kicking off again!
Only 1 from 2 tips right myself so far, but lovin' it!
The Dragons looked like they were pushing the whole time, not letting off - good to see.
And the Cowboys' comeback was great - shame they didn't quite come over the top for the win, but was an exciting last 30mins!

I thought the Dragons were outstanding and they played solid football for the whole game. Simple but very effective. I think the roll on they get from their proprs is outstanding and any team that wants to beat them will have to do the hard yards around the ruck in defence.

The speed of both games was exceptional and of very high standard considering it was round 1.

Yep, the Dragqueens surely targeted the Eels in behind the ruck area.  The Eels fell away after falling behind, their 'superstars' not delivering much.  The cowgirls had better work on their fringe defense.  The Broncos will fall away with a few injuries.  Their depth will be sorely tested as the season drags on.  Good start to the season though.  Good tough footie.

yeah broncs young guys are great talents, but its a long grind and enthusiasm wanes ater a 4 month slog.

but they certainly have some skills, if they can get some experience on the park as well they will be hard to stop, especially up there.
