So many on here wax lyrical about the boys and whilst I don’t doubt they are talented the money they were offered to move is far more than they really are worth.

Would have been nice to keep them , but until more established they aren’t great value for money

Plenty wanted Latu over Brooks, but Brooks played all over him tonight.

Yeah we won the game but most of the talk was about the make up of the Tigers side next week and that Manly’s win was not overly convincing; which is somewhat true, but what about the team that just lost by 18 in what in their 6th straight defeat? They passed a couple of balls to no one that hit the ground and we came though and picked it up — if we made a diabolical error like that, Voss would spend the next five minutes talking about how bad we are…Tigers do it and we hear crickets.

Latu was especially disappointing.

He runs too much, and way too often on the 4th tackle, taking himself out as a possible kicking option.

Clearly Benji has told him to back.his running game, but I think he's over-doing it.

When he clearly directed the Fox coverage to do a closeup replay of the DCE ‘bobble’, that was Voss at his Manly hating worst. I’ve seen him gloss over exact same incidents against Manly with ‘well you can’t expect the officials to pick up everything’. I have mates that support other teams pick up on his anti Manly bias. Absolute flog!

Yes the nearly 250-gamer in Brooks outplayed Fainu playing 80 minutes in the NRL for the first time of his career and without Luai. Was nice to actually notice Brooks out there for the first time in a while but I’m struggling to take it as a positive when this was a recruitment move aimed at success in the short term, which neither us or the Tigers are having. We will need to check back in a few years to see the actual results here
