Just a quick pat on the back to the club for putting on a 1st year member bbq down at Brookie this morning, coinciding with the teams captains run.
It was my son’s first year of membership and he was thrilled to be able to get up close to all the players who were brilliant with their time, happy to talk, take a photo and sign some autographs. I even spotted our captain after the bbq had finished showing one of our young members some tips around passing and kicking for a good 15 minutes.
1st year members are generally associated with the greatest level of turnover each year so hats off to the club for showing them some love and also to the players for doing their part and showing that as members our support means a lot to them.
