I'd much prefer the system used in 1912 to 1914, 1917 to 1921 ans 1925
Better still, the 1909 (Grand) Final is my favourite ever.

1995 grand final should have had the premiers right to a replay match if they were ripped off and lost rule. And 1983 & 1997 too.
