95-97 manly team was all time!! Stacked full of legend manly players...

The 1995 team, I still think was the best Manly team I have every seen, including 2008.
Unfortunately that they had their worst game all year in the grand final.

Seven tackle try to take the game away from us in 95, there's just no way that team should have lost!!

Agree, the 1995 Team had more talent than the 2008 one.
13 wins in a row is still the record.

I think we only lost 3 that whole year, but one was the GF🙁

Still remember yelling '7th tackle', but the Referee knew better

I went to all 3 GF's , funny really looking back now, should have won all 3, we were that good, a ref blue cost us in 95 ( but agree it wasn't a top class performance that day for whatever reason) and enough said about 97, I'm still shattered .

they still would have won without that try so that on its own did not cost us.

The fact newcastle came home over the top of us to steal 97 then had 3 players busted for performance enhancing drugs stinks more than the storm in my books. The clive churchill medal winner being one of those done for drugs soon after says it all. Most tainted premiership of all time and should have been stripped.
