There is no doubt that there is local presence down here trying to foster local talent in Rugby League. There is a really strong NZ and Islander population here too which have a natural love of the game (these communities have provided most of the 'home grown' talent in recent years) It...- Harmless27

Does anyone else find it bonkers that we are 1 win away from 5th?
all to play for - and if we are good enough, we will get our reward! I think our injury situation will determine our success. I wonder when we are likely to get everyone back (vs our draw.....) Anyone know?- Harmless27

Honestly - it just feels wierd. We have been bad. Really bad. We have internal problems (as usual) we lost to the bottom teams. We have injuries. Our coach should be sacked (according to some on here - not me)..... Yet SOME HOW we are within touching distance of fifth on the ladder. Is it just...- Harmless27

Should Turbo/DCE Play State of Origin?
I do't think manly will have a single representative in Origin 1. Bold call. But i think Guac will not make the bench, Jake is done, and both DCE and Tom are out of form/injured. Sad really.... when was the last time we didn't have a single player in either squad?- Harmless27

end of the day, he has the most to lose in terms of reputation. Whether it be next year, or the year after - Manly was always going to have to move on from DCE I have ALWAYS been a big supported of DCE. I believ he has done so so so much right for our club - but I do consider this a stain on...- Harmless27

Is Mestrov really our Messiah?
Agree. I have always been a DCE fan - but i think he has put a foot badly wrong here. He is playing against a master tactician in Mestrov, and he (DCE) has more to risk than the club do. End of the day, THIS year is the window for DCE to win a comp..... not when he is almost 40.- Harmless27
