    Cool so are saying that DCE can play for ever then? Are you also saying that he is playing at the same level as he in previous years? Or simply because he is "there" in the stadium etc that is what means he is playing well? Cool, cool, cool, cool.

    This is where we agree to disagree on being a couple of forwards short of a serious contender. Lets say you thought we were way off...would you want to rebuild?

    Fair but I am not sold on many of the players being premiership quality. I know it is not the only guide but how many of non big 3 are seriously in contention for any rep honours? Ola is there abouts but not fully there...I love Paseka but at this stage he is not rep quality...same with Garrick...

    The thing with the dogs is that when Gould started there he pretty much had the whole squad off contract over a 2 year period so do it all from scratch (while ridding some bad years)

    I hear you but I still do not think unless something dramatic that gets us in serious contention (I could see us getting to the sharks level, around the top 4 but not good enough when the time really counts)

    As an aside as an older fan with strong memories of our last dominant era (2006 really to a bit of 2014) I do think it is easier for me to say that I would be happy with a less successful era

    I think it is more them looking and being somewhat ruthless. Yes it could impact this season but they must have a belief that the current team may finish top 4 but they are not capable of winning the comp (which they feel could happen with Galvin) To me it is a case of not accepting good...
