    I'm sure the money could have been used differently from 2012 to 2015, but those guys' perception was that DCE got an upgrade prematurely (when the senior guys were all taking unders to keep the squad intact) and Gifty subsequently got shafted a couple of years later, and it pissed them off...

    Parramatta. No surprise given Arthur knew what they had to offer. Gifty was low balled because we didn't have space in the cap, and DCE agitated for an unplanned upgrade mid contract. How could there not be a link?

    What did Arthur do other than take up a head coach gig when one became available? Choc and Foran were pissed at the club for backing DCE's money grubbing at the expense of Gifty, and Tat Tooves for not listening to feedback from senior players. In hindsight, I think Choc and Foran were right.

    I suspect some must come on here from time to time in an altered mental state. Maybe from hitting the bottle too hard, or just when they are in a foul mood. Random aggressive posts and bickering just seem to pop up from some posters. Some people just don't know how to live without drama and so...

    We aren't winning without a Herculean performance. Which this squad can pull off from time to time, the problem is that every time they do they usually lose the two games following it.

    Many have pointed out that the bloated contracts for DCE, Tom and Jake have been an albatross around the club's neck. And our results since 2015 bear that out. I don't rate Siebold as a coach all that much, but I actually think our roster management under his tenure has been the best it has...

    Speed. He is a very dangerous option especially if you can get the ball out against the rushing defense. But yes in general play Talau is better.

    If Haumole is fit to play tt could well end up being the difference between winning and losing. I think the Storm would exploit Waddell's lack of mobility.

    From what I've seen of him in FG he struggles with the intensity and can't play big minutes. Hopefully he keeps improving and becomes a credible option for Siebold soon.

    The ladder is starting to look much more like you'd expect for this point of the season. Top teams have separated from the pack, bottom teams are well off the pace, and a big logjam in the middle. I can't see us winning the spoon this year. The Titans look to have that just about sewn up.

    We are only two wins away from fourth! That is crazy to me given the two losses to the Sharks, and the knights, Titans and Eels losses. We could be first right now if we could just win the games that are there to be won.

    Yeah I agree too. TDS was worth a crack as a potential future star, but if we are going to make do with above average players then Simpkin is already meeting that need.
