    Season 2021

Re: TOLU KOULA - Does anyone know what the situation is with this player? Current GPS sprint Champion and Aus. Schoolboy team. Has the speed that Manly desperately needs.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Bulldogs v Manly [Round 18, 2020]

This will be an interesting game. Much will depend on the effectiveness of Cust as a link. Also hope that Sironen will cease stifling his outside backs.

    Taufua injury?

Sorry, beg to disagree. His lack of speed and clumsiness has been a major factor in our edge weakness over several seasons. We have had the worst outside backs in the League and he has epitomised that.

    The Book of Albert

I agree that Hopoate went quite well in view of the very difficult circumstances he faced. He will benefit immensely from that experience and his fitness levels will also be boosted. Hope he stays in the side from now on.

Can you provide a link to that post? Thanks

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Manly v Bulldogs [Round 3, 2020]

One other tip - keep an eye on how many tries are scored by Taufua, and more importantly, how nany tries are scored DOWN his wing against Manly.

Game Day: Chooks v Manly [Round 2, 2020]

Taufua as usual was a liability. He is a heartattack every time the ball goes near to him. Manly simply cannot afford to keep him - time to give young Funa a go. He is a footballer and has adequate pace

    Club news

Off topic a bit but does any one know whether Brayden Musgrove is still at the club?
  9. N

Could DES be thinking outside the box

IMO Taufua is a goner - far too slow and error prone. Can.t afford his match losing mistakes any more

    SEA EAGLES 2020......

But definitely not now up to NRL standard!

    SEA EAGLES 2020......

Would not be surprised the see Taufua moved to the forwards, as his effective wing days are surely over. Also don't think Miski is up to NRL standard as he lacks pace. Manly may have a surplus of halves as, if fit, young Metcalf is potentially a superstar.

    2020 recruits (just dreaming)

Why on earth would you stick with Taufua? he wopuld not be selected in any other side in the NRL - lacks pace, terrible hands, constantly error prone!
  13. N

    Brayden Musgrove

The left wing( Taufua) has been a glaring weakness all year. Has to be rectified. This guy perhaps is the remedy
  14. N

    Brayden Musgrove

Miski is a goer, but crucially lacks pace.

    TAUFUA, TAUFUA,TAUFUA!

    Walker Big Game Player!

Agree Elliot proved not to be NRL standard. Defence was pathetic. Also Taufua was again a disaster. One bungled try opportunity and one dropped high kick. Has np speed and incapable of running any lond distance tries. Has to go cannot be carried any longer.
  17. N

    Brayden Musgrove

    Taufua - undoubtedly

    Brayden Musgrove

Taufua MUST be the one to go. He has made mistakes in just about every game this year. Manly cannot afford to keep him any longer. Maybe move him into the forwards.

But have you considered just how many disasters Taufua will create again if selected?
