yeah but why ok for Saints? He came to manly from Kurri Kurri, not kogarah.
We also got screwed on Wally O'Connell. In his book he explains there were double standards in place. Some clubs got a free ride but the new clubs did it tough on this rule.
Ivan Cleary would have been good for us in the late 90s and early 2000s, then he would still be here, possibly also with his son.
Keary, Nicho Hines, Verrills are three that would be nice to have at present.
ah right I didn't know it was that aspect. Would have been nice for the ref to delay the scrum until we had a lock, like Perenara did for the warriors. Or Perenara should have let them feed it and then give manly a penalty
Did you notice in the game vs warriors that Perenara delayed a scrum, asking the warriors to provide a lock before it could be set?
Contrast this with the scrum penalty against manly in a recent game (v Knights?) when we fed the scrum before the lock got there and lost a fantastic attacking...
I am suspicious of this so called “nrl physio”. He or she simply reads or hears on the radio whatever suspected injury a player has, then quotes a textbook on the general recovery time for that type of injury.
He/she purports to speak with authority and inside knowledge, but in reality it’s all...
Positives were 1) haumole 80 mins wow
2) Not panicking at 0-16.
3) our halves played strongly in attack and defence
negatives: 1) kicking the ball on the 4th just before half time to give the warriors a full set of 6. One more slow hit up and then into touch would have done it.
