    Vossy wanted them beaten so badly he was incensed at anything manly had go their way. It was embarrassing for him to at one stage announce he was just a casual observer...be f**ked he was. I myself was starting to enjoy the hate being piled onto the manly team.....only good things from that.

    So true....madge is the only one in the room that thinks they can do what he's spruiker. The players know they haven't got the team capable of doing what he's asking.....it's in their faces. I find it a real cack.

    Brad Arthur has to come up with something better than run hard, tackle hard. They don't play enough footy. That style will beat 10-11 sides in this comp, but once you match their toughness ............they've got nothing as was found out when Manly took them on. Same last night with Canberra.

    Agree....however they use to trap and scrap and watching replays nobody tried to throw out a leg to trap....have they changed that approach.

    Garrick...apology

    I too am sitting here with egg all over my face. Happy to apologise for the scathing criticism I sent Garricks way. Yesterday he was superb, he more than contributed and his goal kicking has come on in leaps and bounds. Just one thing...which one is the true Reuben Garrick.

    NRL to trial two new technologies to help detect forward passes

    Absolutely agree....if you're at the ground it's an instantaneous 'forward" from 70 % of the crowd.when one is thrown. Ifs so ingrown into footy watchers it's an easy pick up. Had to laugh last year when Cam Smith got done for a forward pass and argued that it was flat. Referee came back...

    Cherry can kick as good as Garrick. All I'm saying is with his limited impact on the wing he needs to kick them all. Bit like hazam....had very little as a winger but never missed a goal.

    Really.....i thought that's what they had been doing for 6 weeks. All I want is for the team to show some commitment and urgency in defence.. That's it....and if we get beat I won't be as pissed as what I am when teams put 40 on us.

    I really think a lot of players are playing busted. Really courageous but not helping anyone. Manly teams don't give up 56 points to anyone...let alone a team that Parra will put 20 on this week.
