    No reception at the leagues club this year

    After the 08' victory , we pre-arranged a maxi taxi to take 6 of us back to Manly Leagues Club. Agreed it was very chaotic. Fortunately we managed to get some passes to the upstairs function that the players came into. Brilliant night. I applaud the Club for doing it differently this time...

    The Members Area (top deck) holds 7,000 people. I would imagine they will go close to filling that area. We just need another 20,000 to turn up and we'll go close to cracking 30,000.

    Myself & 6 mates will be in the Members Area (Bay 71). Arriving at the ground at 5.15pm to ensure we get the best seats in the house. I would be somewhat disappointed if this game doesn't attract at least 30,000 people. Make the effort Manly fans !

    Just a side note : For those travelling up to Brisbane for the Manly game (Sept 4th) , on the Friday night (Sept 2nd) , also at Suncorp Stadium , The Socceroos will play Thailand in one of many World Cup Qualifier matches. Just throwing it out there.............

    I was overjoyed with the news today ! Many thanks to DSM5 & Dan for their coverage of the events from the courtroom. I attended a day of the trial ( Weds 22nd Sept ) & was impressed with the way Brett handled himself. Must be a huge weight off his shoulders now. Enjoy the off season.
