Hard to believe the Cheese, or anyone at the Roosters, would touch drugs. DCE must be shocked after taking a pay cut (with no off the book incentives whatsoever, as is the Roosters way) to join the most compliant of sporting teams in the world.- MadMarcus

Des had signed with the Dogs before the finals series if I remember correctly. Strange he didn’t go on 100% Footy in plain clothes to announce he was leaving Manly but refuse to say where he was going. Maybe he thought it would destabilise the team or something.- MadMarcus
