Actually 16, but has played 1-2 years up for some time.....my bad stating 17 earlier, but this is the age he plays against currently Not really an option at NRL level for some time....so the next 2 years at least, will hopefully find some better options- maxta

Very well and potentially 1 of the better "young guns" in the game....but at 17, is still a couple years off any serious discussion. The fact is our dummy half impact is maybe the bottom of the NRL ladder and in such a key position, I find this a very worthy thread for discussion.- maxta

You could be right, but I still think he has more spark than what we got now and reckon in 2026 that's where he will start....but I don't mind where your going at all, some decent hands, tackles and can make a bust and 13 on his back as he will only add size, makes sense to me....in fact a bit...- maxta

Firstly forwards are needed before backs by a way Secondly, Staggs past 2 seasons has been pretty average, 3 seasons ago he was a beast, but right now just another average centre in games I've seen- maxta

I do recall the "Bruise Bros" So much intent defensively, that's when tackles were "hits' compared to today's "Locl up the ball" and wrestle apprach. The more we type, the more I realise what a welcome addition a player like that would be for Manly.- maxta

I feel that losing is only a part of the issue effecting the passion. I think it's the way they are losing.....at times it looks like the players lack passion, leading by big margins and then frittering away these leads without a fight. Very true - Navale has work ethic as a light forward with high work rate , not so much a tackle buster and no ball playing - more a Mr reliable lock and it's a Massive bonus to get your 13 like a Yeo with some skills....I think Greg Bird though a dirty rat, had a good combination of all modern...- maxta

Well Cleary is calm and Bellamy is a slobbering St Bernard....so obviously both methods can work as these are the yardstick coaches in modern times. Not gunna run through the stats and stuff, but if memory serves me half decently....very rare that we don't have a player represent either NSW or Qld. I recall some series there were 3-4 in each team !! This is not 100% terrible, as prefer the players being available for Manly over state, but...- maxta
