    bulldogs didn't need to do much but showed their experience. Going to be a long season. The hype, funny training vids, the 'let's go' / 'up 'n at 'em' video etc don't mean much if you cannot do the basics.. which is all the Dogs had to do. Only Jake T running with any purpose. Nate too...

    was thinking about the sponsor the other day for some reason - Pioneer was probably our glory sponsor.. My second stereo (the turntable type of one) was a Pioneer.. quality it was.

    .. whereas the truth is the 'working class' teams such as Newtown, Balmain, South Sydney, Western Suburbs, Canterbury Bankstown (Berries) were likely fleeced by their own administrations. But it's easier to talk ****e. anyway we all know this.

In the 60's and 70's many working people bought houses on the northern beaches because there were many new subdivisions where working people came because it was relatively cheap due to being removed from Sydney with no train etc. Manly itself up...
