    The Elephant in the room

Thanks mate, appreciate it 🙏🏽 interesting to see the way we have structured the club. Highlights the importance of appointing the right people, also illustrates how some of the previous decisions had gone forward.

Like I say. I wasn’t actually trying to be a smarta** just trying to educate myself on the structure of our club before making future comments. Thanks for the clarification

    The Elephant in the room

I personally believe the elephant in the room is why our captain is happy to walk away from the club after so many years at the club. Since the price jersey saga the club has continued to make poor decision after poor decision (sacking Dessie, Sacking Foran, Shuster big money, Siebold, Issac...

I would bring in the youth, I don’t think turbo can play in the spine. It’s too distributive building a game plan around someone who struggles to string more than 3 games together. Still the best player on our team but his body has become a liability. The only place I can honestly see him...

Let’s hope we’re sitting back in a couple of years time watching Joey Walsh win a dally M and Clive Churchill thinking about how far we have come as a club from today my feathered friend.

From my understanding Canberra didn’t activate his $650k one year option by end of round 6, media then starting reporting we were set to offer him a 2 x year $1 million deal ($500k per season). If Canberra come back and say they will offer him 2 x years at $500/$550k. All alleged through...

Decision will come down to family, if I had the option to secure my future without having to relocate my children’s school and wife’s work I’ll definitely take it up, especially when you consider we decided to (allegedly) low ball him. I think he will be good for us but end of the day family...

    The Haumole Bible.

I’ve been saying this for years. Koula was the best option to play on the right because he has the speed to push up for DCE’s obnoxious dart out the line trip attempts and get back to support Saab on the wrap arounds. I also recall the combination between Schmole and Foz building a lethal...

    The Haumole Bible.

I don’t know if it has unsettled him but I do think everything that’s going on has unsettled the Schmole/Chez combination. I also think the amount slack he is having to pick up from our lack of pack isn’t doing him any favours either.

By memory Penn acquired full ownership of the club 2013/14…I rest my case. We don’t stand a chance when our owners don’t prioritise success on the field. Our owners don’t even reside in Australia, let alone care about our on field results. The sad thing is the ones who hurt most are us fans...

Not like the past few years have been much better. We are a premier club, making finals shouldn’t be good enough. We should be in the business of winning premierships, just wish our owners had the same mindset.

If Talau can find the form he was playing with last season he can play centre. Either that or push him up into the second row.

I respect the sentiment but can’t agree. I think with the right decision making we can find a way to keep both. One of the ways we can do that is to stop leaking our intent to the media before it’s even been done. All is does is start a bidding war against ourselves. $500k in the new salary cap...

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

100% agree, still think there’s an opportunity for someone like Toovey to lead the charge. The DCE saga has shown that loyalty can’t be bought. We need more manly people to lead us out of this hole we have found ourselves in.

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

To be fair what quality players would see our club as a genuine option? We can’t offer a plan to success, we can’t offer premier coaching, our superstars can’t even guarantee finishing the game. Our only hope is to develop from within with players who love the club but our owners seem hell bent...

    MVP: Rd 7 v Dragons

    1. Lehi Rest of the team were s**t. We look lost, our only set plays come from inside our 10. Our style of play changes weekly, hard to build on strengths when everything is constantly changing. Our defence and conditioning is also putrid. New motto for this season is regardless of the score...

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

I personally always loved the Koula/Saab combo. Both strong, fast and electric. The second teams tried to allow for them we had our FB sweeping to the left setting opportunities up for Garrick on the wing. We had the blueprint and spoony had to tinker, that’s the problem with addicts. Too erratic

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

Koula over Saab imo. With the right structure/coaching he could be an origin player. Instead we get to the 5th and just pass and hope he breaks 20 tackles. Same thing with Schmole, look how much better he was when Foz played with him. JT made Boulton look like an origin great.
