I'm still seeing Manly jerseys around...
Moved up to Forster at the beginning of the year and have very often seen Manly gear worn by locals, was very nice to see quite a lot more grand final time, Myself I wear Manly gear minimum once a week. Mind you anyone my brother considers his Manly gear his casual so it's worn everday after...- mwsneagle

Interesting, when asked if he had a get out clause, he stated not to his knowledge. He also praised Toovey and Des for their coaching. Gee he is a likeable lad.- mwsneagle

In hindsight I would think they gave him too much power. They really are in quite a situation now. Dessie has played this very much to his advantage, he has confirmed several times now that he will play out his contract. I would think he'd know this would be untenable but by stating he will do...- mwsneagle

I personally wouldn't think Brett would go to the Bulldogs, could you imagine the very personal attacks that would be levelled at him by opposition fans (re: 2009 and Coffs Harbour). I don't know if Brett and Glen will stay - do hope so though, maybe England awaits???- mwsneagle

Yep because this ongoing speculation has not cast a very dark cloud over this event. Manly should, as someone previously stated, go on the front foot and announce it now. RE: Des to sign new contract next week??? thought that too, but where would those 4/5 players go. I wouldn't think they would all be able to slot in at the bulldogs, would there be room? would they have to take a pay cut? would they go elsewhere, including overseas?- mwsneagle
