    The day they knifed Tooves I went from being a member/supporter to a disgruntled fan and nothing I have seen since makes me feel like 2017 will be any different. It's weird but I'd rather buy a ticket to an away game than give a cent of my hard earned to Penn and Zorbas franchise.

    The NRL is to conservative to even have stand alone weekends for origin and would rather just show 8 weeks of sub-par footy as oposed to making the integrity of the competition the priority. This isn't a bad idea IMO but would probably be even further down the list of priorities.

    Jake will have to take Gallen's spot. End of discussion. Tom is a possibility but there is plenty of competition for backline spots with Tedesco, Moylan, Bird, Jennings, Dugan, Leilua, Mansour and the Morris twins. All he can do is shine for Manly between now and May 2017.

    The 2012 double header was: 1. Broncos (H) v Manly 2. Titans v Dogs (not sure who the home team was for the 2nd game) Taking a home game to Suncorp to play the Titans would be much better.
