    Ant it would be up to the NZRL to play there star players and prevent them from the Code. Players like Hayne can play for Australia or be contracted to "Australia" then play the world cup for Fiji.

    Why can't players have 3 separate contracts, 1 for Club, 1 for State and 1 for National with the ARL (with backing of the NRL and the Television Rights) paying contracts for state and national. So we don't end up with players that get paid heaps to play only club footy.
