Welcome at the premiership reunions, but won't have his poster adorning the hallways. Most manly fans I expect will just shake their heads and thought what might have been.....then not cared less.
It's the smart decision. Get some of the younger quick guys outside him and he puts them through the holes, it's the same at any footy club in the country.
If it was like for like money (god i hope not), and he goes, then he really really REALLY dislikes Manly. And i for one would be happy that he was out of the place. Young football players would kill to be the 5/8 of Manly.
But are we crazy to welcome him back with open and lucrative arms? He still is on the phone to a rival ****ing coach this week! If he loved the club he would stay, countless have. He doesn't, so go.
