    How often do you see a player who is still under contract for the season go on live TV to say they want to play on but won't be extending at their current club? Let alone the captain of said club? The guy might be a decent human being in a lot of ways but he's a dickhead in this regard at least.

    We will probably win this, and possibly even win it well. I would be rueing the soft losses we have had across the season, but the reality is our current injury toll means we would have been cannon fodder in the finals anyway.

    It's not Waddell's fault that our depth in the second row is hopeless. He should be a middle. It's also not his fault that when he's had to fill in in the second row he's playing inside a halfback who has been phoning it in defensively.

    It won't matter. The Raiders will rest most of their first graders, all but guaranteeing the Dolphins an easy win. Even if the Roosters lose the Dolphins will get their spot.

    The Raiders being four points clear means they will probably do a big batch of resting players next week. It could really help the Dolphins.

    I can stomach Siebold for one more year because I don't think we will have a competitive squad next year anyway. With our squad the way it is, we need a much better run with injuries to when have a hope of being competitive, regardless of who the coach is.

    I think we can say season over now. A 16-20 bump to our F/A won't be enough to catch the Roosters - even if the results did go our way next week.

    Maybe if we are lucky some Saints player will take DCE head high and rub him out with a Cat 1 HIA, get sin binned or sent off, and guarantee we get to see two weeks of Walsh. Not that I want to wish for anyone to get hit in the head...

    We hopefully got the last year of an overpaid, underperforming halfback. Unfortunately I don't think we will right the ship until 2027 when we can also bring online pay cuts for the Trbojevics and be nearer the end of the Schuster payments.

    I hope the Raiders, Warriors, Panthers or Dogs win but unfortunately I think the Storm, Broncos and Roosters also have a very good chance.

    Yep we need to either lose or win by a slim margin for our finals hopes to be officially ended. If we win by 30 or 40 then our hopes are in Souths' hands next week.

    There's no way the Storm would prefer the Roosters as a prospective finals opponent over us or the Dolphins. They lost because they rested key players.
