    Jamal Fogarty

The only place where I see Fogarty as a downgrade on DCE (the 37 year old version of DCE) is field goal kicking. The squad will really need some strategies for that.

    Jamal Fogarty

If the Roosters win the comp next year, DCE will probably watch it happen from the pine. He had maybe 5 good games all year this year, and he's not getting any younger.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Melbourne have depth players that would be starters at most other NRL clubs. I strongly suspect that they have mechanisms in place for paying players that aren't exactly in the spirit of the salary cap.

The joint is about to implode

This is all a bit dramatic over a Danny "look at me" Weidler story. I'm sure he's sussing out the UK, he would be curious about his options and he won't play against Manly. Our signings for next year have been decent in my opinion, given our cap constraints.

    Kobe Hetherington

I guess he is the Aloiai replacement. Remains to be seen who else we get in to replace Tevaga.

    2026 recruitment & retention

30 spots to fill. We have just released a few monkeys, and we need to spend our peanuts.

    Tommy Talau

Saab's ceiling is much higher than Talau's. He needs to get some confidence back.

    2026 recruitment & retention

I'm not anti Klemmer. As with all these things, it comes down to the dollar value. I wouldn't want to spend $600k on him, but for $150k he would be useful.

All NRL Games [Round 27, 2025)

Who cares? 9th and 10th are equally unimpressive.

    The Turbos

It's pretty pathetic to keep hearing that Burbo was only signed because of his last name. He was excellent in the juniors and has proven with his development that he is NRL standard. If injuries don't hamper him, 2026 will be his best year yet.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Talau is too good to be depth. A club with crap backs, be it here or the UK, will be willing to give him what we can't.

    Jason Saab

I think Saab was rattled by the way the DCE stuff went down. He hasn't played to his potential all year.

    Friday Farewells

He's probably played well enough to get himself a gig in the UK

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

We actually could put a huge score on them here. I just don't think the Rabbitohs and Raiders will hold up their end of the bargain.

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

Dang. Koula would have scored there

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

How on earth do you call that a high tackle?

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

Alright well now we only have 75 minutes rather than 80 to try to score 80 unanswered points

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

What a great way for DCE to finish up, by letting in the fastest try ever scored in the NRL

Game Day: Manly V Warriors [Round 27, 2025]

Here's the real question, can we score 90 points and keep our finals hopes alive? 😂
