    Another good point. Ballin wasn't the most creative dummy half but complemented players like DCE, Ox, Foz and Gifty perfectly.

    I'm a Croker defender, but I do get the argument re lack of creativity etc. Lawton is a Croker clone, ie solid but limited creativity. Agree with other comments that I'd like to see Gordy or Humphries in the 14 to see if they can provide a bit of impact. I'd lean towards Humphries as I thought...

    Haha good point mate. Sandwich at centre, I was tossing up between Talau and Paulo at wing. I give it slightly to Talau on what I’ve seen so far.

    If the teams still fir and firing I don't see a need to rush either forward back, especially Lodge who is coming of a long layoff. A couple of games in NSW Cups to regain match fitness and assess how they're travelling. Saab comes straight back in if fully fit. I guess the question should more...

    Valid. But I think Lodge also comes into the frame when fit. With Jake playing 80 min I think we only need two middles on the bench. I’d still have Schu there as impact/ We’re on the hook for both salaries, regardless of where they play.
