    No points last week....

I agree that Snake may have prevented their try, had he been there. I also agree that we could have scored 16 points. The pass that was deflected from gift at the scrum had Jamie strolling over, it was a sweet move that was slightly off due to timing. Personally I don't think that it was the...

    Rest Snake next week.

Hopefully channel 10 news is accurate. They just reported that Brett is likely to play this week. Out of interest does anyone know what our win/loss ratio is when Brett didn't play this year? Me thinks it is pretty low

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly report - finals week 1

Good write up as always. If we play the Roosters again I would like to see us be more creative with our kicking game. The Roosters tactics were obvious, defend offside and put pressure on our playmakers. A few more bombs or kick in behind their defense early in the count could have delivered...

    Snake hamstrung

I wouldn't rely on the source. No one knows for certain if he is in or out. Same goes for wolfman. We will know for certain in a few hours I guess.

Is it possible with no Snake

I think we can still win, but I am alot less confident. Missing Brett will take some shine of our attack, but we will miss his communication in defense probably more.

    Brett Stewart availability for Sat

The suspense is killing me, I wish the club would just come out and say he is or he isn't. I don't believe what any other media outlet says, I will believe it when it's from the horses mouth.

    Brett Stewart availability for Sat

I will be very nervous if he doesn't play. Nothing against Hiku, but Brett is a big game player, we need his blistering attack and his communication in defense.

    Roosters next week!

We have to put pressure on their halves. I think they will crack under the pressure. Watmough and Skivi need to be up in their faces early to rattle them. The Roosters defence will rush up as well so I would be looking at some short kicks in behind their D, with B Stewart leading the chase.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly report - round 26 2013

That was the best one ever. Really enjoyed reading it, that was exactly my take on the game. Well done

    Good loss

I'm not too concerned with the loss and I don't think Toovs will be either. I think at 26 all the boys switched off, the last thing they wanted was a drawn out golden piont.

    Finals week 1

I am confident we will beat either. The only reason we didn't beat either of the Roosters or Rabbits this year was because of 2 things, poor execution and poor officials. One thing is for certain, our execution will be clinical as Gus mentioned last night and we won't be robbed again by the...

    Geoff Toovey 1988 to 2001

I don't remember that one Bozo, it must have been a cracker. Smell my finger swatted everyone away like flies. Toovs is a friggin legend and I am so glad he is our coach and stuck by us.

    Geoff Toovey 1988 to 2001

I still remember Toovs in Newcastle one day picking up the Chief Harragon and driving him back about 10 metres. It was unbelievable.

    Well done Buhrer

He is looking much stronger than earlier in the year. He has a few penalties in him though. If he can get these out of his game he will kick on to bigger and better things.

    Toughest opponent For 2013

I think our toughest opponent will be ourselves. Most of our losses this year was because we beat ourselves, we made dumb errors or dumb decissions that ended up costing us the game. If we play to our ability, with the right attitude and the right execution, no team will beat us. We have the...

    Favourites ?

They look good at the moment, but Semi Finals footy is totally different. It will be interesting to see how Pearce goes under the pump. Personally I think they will not win the comp. Us, Souths or Storm will win it.

    Unwanted Horo starring for Manly

Love them or hate them, they still have a strong culture. That's why they won the comp last year. How many unwanted players were in that team? there was a few

    Unwanted Horo starring for Manly

The Storm and Manly would be leading the way in this department for sure. It all relates back to culture. Our great club has the best culture in the league, closely followed by the storm. No surprising the 2 teams have been the most successfull over the last few years. A strong culture brings...

    The Roosters

Will not win the comp with Mitchell Pearce at half. This guy is useless under pressure. The blues will never win a series either with him at half.
