Game Day: Manly v Storm [Round 21, 2021]

They never get up on the mark. Always a step or two forward or to the side to disengage the markers and make easy meters.

    Manase Fainu

i think the Cust injury while Lawton was still out was the best thing that happened to Croker. He simplified things instead of trying to play for a spot and it paid off. He’s no world beater but his progress has been pleasantly surprising. Good on him.

    Other Games [Round 19, 2021]

Have to say I haven't watched a non Manly non SOO game in weeks now. I think I have fallen out of love with what they call "the product" these days.

Pangai Jr Signs with Bulldogs for 3 years

First non-back Barrett has signed. He probably chose the Dogs so he can have a few beers with the boys instead of having to train hard and be accountable with Madge.

State of Origin [Game II, 2021]

QLD had no go forward and no platform for halves or outside backs as a result. They need to fix their middle forwards. When they got some position or a decent play the ball, the hooker's distribution was woeful and mis-timed. It was great.

    Booze Rothfield at it again

I listened to 9 in the first half yesterday because Fatty was commentating. He mentioned that he went to a function with the players during the week and that the atmosphere amongst the team was great with everyone having a laugh and getting along well. They need to fill the papers with...

    Thats not footy

These sorts of wins usually do little for your premiership chances. I believe that often they are in fact are detrimental as the players get over-hyped and lose touch with the importance to lay a good platform before going razzle dazzle. Give me a good 12-10 victory with lots of goal line...

    Woods, Dugan & Johnson…

Especially with judiciary crackdowns. Fitzgibbon may not want him, but I don't care about Fitzgibbon until he proves he's actually a good coach. Not just another over-hyped assistant (O'Brien, Barrett, Kearney, etc.).

    Woods, Dugan & Johnson…

I would like to see Woods here. Firstly, he grew up as a Manly fan. He seems like a good character to have around. He is experienced and still a good quality bench caliber front rower. We are currently running thin on middle forwards and I think he would add depth to our pack for a minimal...

That time of year, your NSW Blues team!!

I think Yeo is a great club player but personally don't think he suits the origin arena. Sometimes, it takes a certain skill set to work in a game the speed of origin that great club players aren't up for. Think of Trent Merrin, Nathan Merrit, Cody Walker, etc. I wish NSW would stop picking...

The V'Landy's era .. Pass or fail poll

He’s got the game moving in the right direction. It will take some teams and coaches longer than others to adapt. As mentioned by others, slight tweaks to the way the rules are implemented might be needed. He’s a lot better than gallop and even more betterer than Turdy.

I like him. Can play centre if needed, is a good hole runner and edge defender.

    Scam the tv star

Did he do an ad for an accountant by any chance? I’m in the market for one that specialises in hiding money (from my wife not the ATO).

There’s always a team around May that seems unbeatable and a **** team over performing/surprising.
