Why I Think Manly Will Never Compete Long-Term Again

I hear you but by investing in their kids like they are I believe it is a more sustainable path to ongoing success. I mean I still see a world where we could even jag a comp this year as it is so open...but do I think we will be a consistent top 4 team? Not really unless something changes at...

Why I Think Manly Will Never Compete Long-Term Again

It is an investment which will take time much like when Gus came in at the panthers - I am talking about the ability to compete in the future

Why I Think Manly Will Never Compete Long-Term Again

If you look at the Gus template it is exactly what he did at the Panthers albeit more successful this time. Buy some established first graders to get the team competitive then wait for the kids to come through

Re tariffs, part of the issue for me is how reactive and unplanned it all seems. I’m not convinced it’s part of a broader strategy. It feels more like improvisation than negotiation. There’s definitely a place for tariffs in trade negotiations when they’re part of a clear plan, as outlined in...

I would think that him coming this year would be some form of an upgrade on his current deal meaning he is ahead overall - which is smart if that cap space was just going to be Arthur

I think that the border was out of control and locking that down has been good. As for everything else in this term it is far too early to comment either way. As for his last term there was some good work with warp speed and getting the vaccine out as quickly as he did. Lets play the same game...

Yes you can not control where money goes but to say that they were given money is highly misleading as there is a substantial difference between that and what happened (it also feeds into a narrative of wasteful spending which, in this case, is not accurate)
